Thin trails of light rise from behind a dark ridge into the night sky, with faint lights along the horizon.

The intelligence layer of air defense

TRACENTRY™

One picture of the sky. A human in command.

A defense is only as good as its picture of the sky. TRACENTRY is DORZUN’s airspace awareness and command software, designed to turn every sensor on a site into one live picture, carry the watch through the night and give a trained operator the time to decide.

Many small lights cross the night sky low over a far ridge toward a sleeping town.

The threat

Fast. Many. Cheap.

Small drones are fast, easy to buy and easy to replace. They can come low, at night and from many directions at once, over places that were never built to stop them. Defending against them is a contest of attention and time.

No crew can watch the whole sky, all night, every night. TRACENTRY is designed to carry that watch, so the people who defend a site can do what only people should: decide.

01Fusion

Many sensors. One sky.

Each sensor sees part of the sky in its own way. TRACENTRY is designed to fuse what they see into one live picture and to keep a single track on each object from first sight until it leaves, so the whole crew can work from the same sky.

02Autonomy

Autonomy for the long watch.

TRACENTRY’s AI models are designed to tell drone from bird and known from unknown, then rank each track by the threat it poses, so the few that matter reach the operator first. The rest stay in the picture, watched but out of the way. No operator should be buried in alerts, and no crew should have to hold the watch alone.

03Command

A trained human authorizes every engagement.

Autonomy is designed to narrow the field, never to make the call. TRACENTRY is designed to bring each decision to a trained operator with a clear track and the context around it, and to log every decision for review.

The line

Where autonomy stops.

TRACENTRY gives its AI the work that machines do well: watching without rest, sorting at speed and keeping the record. The decision to engage is not part of that work. It belongs to a trained operator, and the software is designed around that line.

TRACENTRY: Autonomy

Designed to

  1. Keep watch across the site without fatigue.
  2. Classify each contact and keep its track in custody.
  3. Score each track by threat and put the highest first.
  4. Record each event, track and decision.

The operator: Human judgment

Trusted to

  1. See the track and the situation around it.
  2. Weigh it against the rules of engagement.
  3. Authorize the engagement, or hold.
  4. Answer for the decision, with the full record behind it.

Keeping the decision to engage with a trained operator is consistent with DoD Directive 3000.09 on appropriate levels of human judgment over the use of force. At civilian sites, that decision stays with the government agencies authorized by law to make it.

The mission

Time to decide.

DORZUN exists to defend the sky over the United States and its allies. When drones come in numbers, the scarcest thing on a defended site is time. Everything TRACENTRY is designed to do, from fusing sensors to ranking threats, has one purpose: to give the person who makes the call a clear picture and the seconds to use it.

Architecture

Designed for the defense you already have.

TRACENTRY is designed to fit the site as it is, not the other way around.

  • Open by design.

Designed to plug into the command-and-control networks defenders already use, through open interfaces. No one should have to rip out a working system to make room for ours.

  • On site.

Designed to run at the site it protects. When links degrade, the site is designed to keep its own picture and its operator in command, then rejoin the network when the link returns.

  • One site to many.

Each added sensor and each added site is designed to extend one shared picture, so protection can grow from a single site to a network of bases, plants and ports.

The measure of a defense is a night nobody remembers.

Briefings

Put your site in the picture.

TRACENTRY is in development. We share details only with qualified government organizations and prospective partners, under the proper agreements and export controls. If a site is yours to defend, we want to brief you.
